If Loving You Is Wrong began on a cruel note as Brad tries to force Alex to name her son with Randal. He suggests “Bastard,” “Son of a Bitch,” and then finally Randal. Alex demands he leaves, but he tells her he is coming back everyday until they name him. Sides are drawn at Randal’s house as Louise admonishes him when he gets home from work for cheating on Marcy. She tells him the same thing happened between her and his father. She demands he apologize to his wife and begin fixing things with her. She also tells him that Marcy now has an ally in her, much to Randal’s chagrin. Faun arrives to pick up the deposit from Natalie at the Burger Joint. Faun tries to apologize to Natalie, but she will not hear it and admonishes her and Joey for having sex in the kitchen. She gets Faun to admit she is in love with Joey, much to his dismay. She advises Faun to take a morning after pill.
Lushion finds Pete working out and reminds him that he will need his help to move his things in with Natalie later in the day. He agrees to help and tells him he has the tape of Eddie and Ben. Ben overhears him and Lushion warns him against using it, fearing for his safety. Travis calls Kelly, trying to apologize for how he treated Ramsey, but she ignores him. Ramsey arrives to talk with her and lets her know he will be sticking around. He hugs her tightly, she does not want to let him go. Ben warns Eddie that Pete has the tape of them, but he is busy being seen by a doctor. There, Eddie warns the doctor the longer he is off the streets the more likely it is someone’s family is raped. The doctor quickly reinstates him. Julius demands Quan kill Eddie or be killed. Quan begs to pay him off instead of trying to kill him again. Julius demands $150K in a week.
Pete uses a tape player at work to view what happened between Eddie and Ben, he does not get to see all of it as Esperanza interrupts him. Eddie sees Alex at the hospital and goes to visit her. He steals a bouquet of flowers on the way. There, Alex demands he leave, but he refuses until he sees the baby. He sees her son’s foot and realizes he is Black and freaks out, hitting her with the flowers. He calls her a whore and leaves angrily!
