Seems like Sony can’t catch a break from bad crap. First their system gets hacked, then all of their juicy and scandalous information gets out to the public and now…terrorist threats??
With so much going on with Sony, they can start a television series based off of it. Sony announced that they would be canceling the New York City premiere of their upcoming film “The Interview” because the system’s hackers have been threatening a 9/11-like attack on theaters who choose to show the movie. The film’s stars Seth Rogan and James Franco have even cancelled all of their appearances for the movie.
It has been rumored that North Korea is behind the hacking of Sony‘s system due to the fact that they are not too pleased about the company releasing a movie about killing their leader, Kim Jong-Un. I mean, can you really blame them. Seems like America keeps poking at a hornet nest, begging for chaos.
Sony has also said that any theater that wants to pull the movie out of their line-up for safety reasons may do so without repercussions.
