Last night should have been all about Cynthia Bailey’s Atlanta launch of her new eye wear, but an old face made waves when she showed up to the former supermodel’s event–Sheree Whitfield! It looks like the universe believes in balance as the final original housewife, Nene Leakes, announced she was leaving the show; Sheree is making her much applauded return. You might think just because she showed up at an event does not mean she is apart of the cast. However, you would be wrong! This event was filmed, and will be apart of Season 8. Then there’s the alleged altercation she had with Kenya Moore. Bravo certainly would not let anything as juicy as that slip through their fingers!
Sheree’s return marks the second housewife to return to the show, as Porsha Williams announced earlier this week she too has her peach back. These casting rumors and shake ups have really gotten out of hand. However, we can confirm that Kandi, Cynthia, Phaedra, and as aforementioned, Kenya, will be returning for next season. Interestingly, rumor has it that Sheree does not have a contract, much like Claudia Jordan. An alleged source told All About The Tea, Ms. Whitfield is holding up production and asking for a minimum salary of $200K. Either way we are glad Sheree is back. It will be interesting to see how the show fares without Nene, but trust and believe she will be back too eventually. “It’s hard out here for a pimp” Ms. Leakes!
