We’ve heard it countless of times, when you make it out the hood, you should give back to that same hood. Well, J.Lo made a whole new meaning with this by now dating someone from her old neighborhood of Bronx, NY.

After a brief stint with rapper Drake, Jennifer Lopez is now dating retired baseball star A. Rod. Appearing on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, on March 6th Lopez shut down all looming questions about her and Drake once and for all, saying, “Let me clear this up. I am not with Drake.”
Although both camps for Drake and J.Lo say they were never official, it seems things were beginning to get that way and something–likely on Drakes part caused it to halt. This is the same woman who canceled her New Years Eve performance in Miami citing, “personal and family time,” as the reason but was seen the same night at Drake’s New Year’s Eve show at a Las Vegas nightclub. Thus, J.Lo gave up her performance earnings to be with Drake to bring in the New Year. That’s not something a “just hanging out” friendship between two attractive heterosexuals would do. Drake also gifted J.Lo with a Tiffany Victoria necklace for $100,000 featuring 15 karats of diamonds. More hard evidence, Drake also has met Jennifer’s twins since he’s been to her home on several occasions.
News has hit that Lopez has moved on with a new love interest in A-Rod, but hold your horses a source told E! News that “Jennifer and Alex are both not looking for a relationship, just a good light-hearted time. They are on the exact same page”.

The two have only been speaking for about two weeks and both have children around the same age and A. Rod has already met her children. A People source stated “She is aware, though, that he is a ladies man too and is being cautious. For now, it’s just fun. She is single and enjoys dating”.
As a ladies man, how is A-Rod any different from Drake? It’s apparent that J.Lo decided to stop the Drake talk after months of staying mum about them just so that it wouldn’t affect her budding relationship with A. Rod. We’ll see how this plays out in the coming months.
