As any artist would do the same this comes as no surprise that Jason Derulo will be using his break up as material for upcoming projects. This might just bring in a new group of listeners and fans from all genres to listen. We saw what, “Confessions” did to Usher’s career this may very well be his moment. Although the singer has achieved an immense amount of success already this is a chance of a lifetime.
Since The Breakup
Derulo States:
“I’m good, man. I’ve just kinda been focused on what’s happening in my career and in my family. Through that, everything has been all right. I’ve just been focused. I have this new motivation. I think sometimes in life things are placed in our lives as a lesson, so you’ve got to take every negative experience and turn that thing into a positive.”
Music on The Break Up
“Oh, 100 percent. I’m somebody who cannot keep those two things separate. Like, I have to put it on paper, put it on wax, put it in my songs. I cannot separate the two. My creativity, my personality won’t allow me to separate the two. If that’s what’s going on in my life, that’s in the songs I make as well. It’s definitely a piece of that.”
Maybe we can expect Jordin to do the same. That would be interesting if she came out of no where with a reply track. Now it could be a little tacky, but the media would so be all over it. We’ll be watching an listening for sure!
