This year’s Golden Globes have come and gone, but they are still the talk of the town. One of the hot topics surrounding the momentous night revolved around Jay-Z and Beyonce!
As you may already know, the Jay-Z and Beyonce arrived late to the awards ceremony, avoiding the Red Carpet all together, and arriving with Jay-Z’s own brand of champagne in tow!

Ace of Spades champagne
Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s bodyguard was spotted holding bottles of the rapper’s own brand of champagne, Ace of Spades, at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
“.@Beyonce and Jay-Z just walked in,” LA Times reporter Amy Kaufman noted on Twitter alongside a photo of the couple standing by their security. “They’re waiting until Kate McKinnon finishes speaking to take their seats.”
She added, “Is their bodyguard carrying bottles of alc for them?”
In the photo, the guard can be seen holding two bottles behind his back, despite one of the official sponsors of the evening being Moët & Chandon.
The rapper spent $200 million in 2014 to own the high-end bubbly Armand de Brignac, which makes Ace of Spades.
The couple was reportedly an hour late to the show on Sunday night. Beyoncé was nominated for best original song for “The Lion King,” but lost to Elton John and Bernie Taupin.
This is such a power move on Jay-Z’s behalf, and not to mention amazing publicity. We are not sure whether he planned for this to become a story, but it is the talk of the town. Anything Jay-Z and Beyonce do is so widely noticed and gone over with a fine toothed comb that we are not surprised this is newsworthy. It is being reported stars like Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Lopez asked to try some of it!
We honestly do not blame them for bringing their own champagne either. If we owned a multi-million dollar champagne company we definitely would not be drinking anyone else’s products either. Kudos to The Carters!
WHO AM I?
That’s probably what you’re thinking? It’s simple I’m this generation’s “Dear Abby!” I was raised in the Fourth Ward of Atlanta, educated in the School of Hard Knocks, and rescued by the concrete and steel of New York City. Life at best will always be bittersweet. The sooner you accept that, the better off you’ll be. I’d prefer to be on your sweeter side. Everyone needs a listening ear, extra shoulder, and open arms when life gets rough. I’m your new best friend, where it all goes south remember I’m a mouse click or tweet away. Hang in there kids, you’re gonna love kickin’ it with me!!!
