Now this may be a bit bias because I love me some Kevin Durant, but I have followed his game for quite some time now, dating back to when he was stealing the show playing for the Seattle Supersonics! Now 7 years later playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kevin Durant has received an honor that he is much deserving of! Kevin Durant was named this year’s Most Valuable Player for the NBA!

I’ve always stated that he is a very talented player with such a humble spirit! With his acceptance speech that was delivered on yesterday, Kevin Durant proved just why he is deserving! He adds this MVP award to his other accolades of being a 5 time NBA All Star, and 3 time scoring title awards, Kevin Durant is well deserving and an all-around talented athlete!

During his speech, Kevin Durant made sure to thank God and his family! Now what may have had every fan of the game of basketball crying watching the screen is giving much recognition to his mother for her sacrifice as a single mother raising two boys at the age of 21. He stated that she was the real MVP and the tears were definitely flowing! True definition of starting from the bottom now WE here! He makes sure his mother is recognized and present at every game! Kevin Durant you are the man and well deserving of the MVP award!
