Over the weekend, KimYe was not the only couple to tie the knot. Love and Hip Hop Atlanta’s own Waka Flocka and Tammy Rivera tied the knot with a secret wedding ceremony. Tammy and Waka are the newest cast mates added to Mona Scott Young’s and VH1’s “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” and are actually proving that there is love in hip hop. This makes for the third, well maybe second depending on who you ask, married couple on the show.
As many of you know, Waka Flocka is a Brick Squad rapper hailing from the Southside of Atlanta who placed many turned up hits out for the world to dance to. Tammy Rivera hailing from the DMV area is a fashion designer and stylist who has recently launched her clothing line T-Rivera, which is a high end fashion line for curvy women. On last night’s Love and Hip Hop episode, we see that she extended her impeccable fashion sense to fellow cast mate Joseline. Too bad Joseline did not take her up on the offer!
Deb Abney, Waka’s mother, has been very verbal about helping the couple to plan their wedding and giving away her son. On the show, Tammy has always voiced that she doesn’t need a big extravagant wedding, and prefers something small. Waka delivered just what his wifey wanted and the two actually have a WEDDING CERTIFICATE to prove it. The two have tattoos on their respective ring fingers stating the others name. There could be works of a spin off show of a wedding to share with their family and friends. I’m sure some ice for their fingers is in the works too. I wish the two the best of luck and a lifetime of happiness in their relationship and with their family. The make a very attractive couple if I do say so myself! Make sure to congratulate the two! Love is a beautiful thing!
