Young, naïve, Dami Edun, can only dream of becoming a star, until she finds herself in the United States, a country that she thinks gives equal opportunity to everyone. Dami discovers the myth the hard way. The US is not what she had believed it was. Opportunity is not equal, after all. Now she has to learn to survive.
When she makes a difficult choice and becomes a stripper, Dami’s life changes forever. Dami must prove to herself, her mother, her love, Nicholas Keller, and to some other foes that she is capable of being a better person. Will she escape a life defined by terrible mistakes or will she be one of the millions of people in the world who never achieve their dreams?

1. Tell us what this book is about
No Regrets is about a young girl trying to find her way through life. Dami wants to be successful and famous, but opportunity didn’t present itself in her home country. She relocates to the United States, but things didn’t turn out as easy as she had expected. Desperate to survive, she turns to the street, hoping to find some cash and also hoping to meet a man of her dreams. Instead, she finds herself stripping, gets an addiction to drugs and a man that takes advantage of her innocence. With unflinching strength and determination and ability to look beyond her past mistakes, she repairs her life and does everything possible to make her dream a reality.
2. Why did you choose to write this book?
I chose to write this book because I want people to know that their life is not defined by past mistakes. Your past mistakes are meant to guide you, not define you. Everyone makes mistakes in life, but that doesn’t mean they have to pay for them for the rest of their lives.
3. Tell us why your writing is unique?
My writing is unique because I’m not afraid to create flawed characters that readers can relate to. People have flaws. People are not perfect, but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to be loved or that they can’t achieve their dreams. Also, I put my heart into my writing and hope that at the end, the reader walks away with hope and motivation; hope that finding true love is possible and motivation to work hard and achieve their dreams.
4. What can we look forward from you?
I have several manuscripts that I plan to publish. God willing, my next novel is When Love Hurts, to be release August 2013
