This week on The Look  with host J’Lamar on Kontrol TV the beautiful singer, songwriter, and mother Latavia Roberson tells viewers and Kontrol Mag her fashion and beauty favorites, but also the details as to why she really stopped singing.

Latavia starts off discussing her feelings on being a fashionable mother, and how she embraces childhood while maintaining her style.  “Overall, I’m just me.” Latavia states her style has changed just as Beyonce stated in her latest album, she’s a GROWN woman. Latavia loves her jeans and fabulous blouses, but also has her top favorite designers as well.

Club Monaco and Louis Vuitton are the new mothers’ favorite designers. She states as long as she has her Louis Vuitton bag she is good to go. I’m wondering if that was before or after the lawsuit with Louis Vuitton? But that’s another story.

Taraji P. Henson and Gabrielle Union are her favorite celebrity fashionistas for women. Latavia states the two women pot ray themselves as ladies, while still remaining fashionable with a taste of sexy. While claiming Paul Walker was her men favorite fashion go to man. Latavia loves a groomed clean cut man, but what woman doesn’t right ladies?

Wondering how Latavia maintains her mother glow and gorgeous healthy hair? She tells host J’Lamar that Witch hazel, Cetaphil , and POND’S are her go to beauty products for her beautiful skin. Deep moisturizing  conditioners are a must have for her hair.

Finally Latavia address why she declined to be apart of the first season on R&B Diva’s. First she stated she was always set to be a part of the second season. Latavia tells Kontrol that when she was first approached to be one of the fabulous divas on the show, she was pregnant with her daughter at the time. Then once she was settled in as a mother and spoke with her managing team, she agreed to be a  part of the second season.

So there you go R&B Diva fans, Latavia did not decline the first season offer because she was not interested, but simply because she was pregnant and transitioning into being a mother now.

Now what we all have been waiting to find out while watching Kontrol TV. Why does Latavia Roberson not sing on R&B Divas? Well, the whole purpose of her role on the show was to show her fans her journey from being a part of Destiny Child to now focusing on her daughter and new life. Latavia is not quite sure if she wants to be back in the ‘crazy’ music industry. At this moment Latavia Roberson does not wish to sing, BUT she does tell us that fans will have a chance to hear sing in the upcoming season.

The singer and mother also gives us the scope on what she is currently working on. Latavia is currently working as a advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness, her memoir,clothing line for children, and cookbook with her mom that we are more than excited to see in stores. Latavia is just a busy business woman and we are more than proud and excited for her success and journey.
