Recently, #KontrolMag had the opportunity to join the community and partake in the awareness of those against domestic violence. The crowd was filled with true supporters excited to walk an entire 1k walk for a good cause while in stilettos.
Once arriving on the early Saturday morning women and men took to the green carpet/runway to strut their stuff for those watching near. The inner diva in all young and seasoned quickly arose and shined. Viewing such a sight of supports was not only moving, but also rewarding to understand that a community could come together unison.
Host Mrs. Georgia Globe 2014, Tiffany Marshall set the event off accompanied with Christopher Macken to a great start. Filled with much energy and excitement no one could deny the amount of spirit in the air. Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders came along for the walk and cheered each person on to build the moment along the way. As the finish line was crossed it was only right to strut down that green carpet/runway again in those ever so divalicious stilettos. A crowd was formed and photos taken from every direction. In a moment like this it’s only right to play no other then Beyoncé’s hit single, “Crazy In Love.”
After all was said and done amazing cupcakes awaited for us all by caterer Ethel Rose. The delicious treats had many of us in a frenzy for a taste. It was ideally the best snack to have after an amazing time with phenomenal people walking for a purpose.
