#Kontrolyourbody: Is your workout gear up to par?

Ok here is some information that can take your mind, body, and soul to the place where all things are serene. You want to whip your body in tip-top shape for the summer and thats a great goal. The weather is warming up and that sexy two-piece is waiting for you to slip into it. All the running, crunching, and lifting is taking your vessel to the next level. Of course with diet and consistency, you will get the result that you deserve and most essentially crave. With all the hard work we put in the gym, has it every occurred that if you are not utilizing the correct  gear that your results can flatline or you can harm your body? Check out these tips to see if your gear is up to par.

  1. Are you wearing the right sneakers? When working out, stay away from shoes that do not provide the proper support for your feet. For example, would you wear football cleats to play basketball? The answer is no! NIKE and New Balance is a great brand to look at when purchasing running shoes. I own three pairs of NIKE shoes that I utilize when I run. They provide great protection for my ankles, feets and most importantly my whole body.
  2. Make sure that your clothes are fitted but not too tight that you can not breathe! You don’t want to pass out due to the lack of air. Also, make sure that your gear is a clear depiction of you! Don’t be afraid to incorporate different colors with your clothes. Colors is a great way to show your personality in the gym!


DRINK PLENTY OF WATER! Make sure you stay hydrated in the gym. This is a critical aspect while working out. Its imperative to put oxygen back into the body after exerting alot of stress!
