After you’ve made millions of dollars from doing box office smash hits like the Twilight series and the twisted remake of the childhood classic Snow White amongst other movies, life gets boring, right? Pretending to be someone else and grabbing tons of fame and praise becomes so cliché! Well….at least for actress Kristen Stewart.
The 24-year old actress told USA Today that she is giving acting a long break to pursue other ventures. More specifically, “Making stuff with her hands.” She explained:
“I’m taking some time off because I’ve been working for two years. I’m an actor and that’s my art form, and because I started that so young, I’ve always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create.”
“I’m going to take so much time off. I’m going to buy a live-work space in downtown L.A. and I’m going to make some [stuff] with my hands. Literally, I made that decision a few weeks ago,” she continued. “I’m making a short film. I’m making a bunch of stuff. I don’t know how I’ll put it out. But I’m not going to hold it so preciously close to me. I write all the time.”
We don’t exactly know what the Twilight star has in store for us but if it’s anything like her movies, we are all-in!
In the meantime, you can catch Kristen in the new film “Camp X-Ray” where she plays a Guantanamo Bay guard watching over imprisoned terrorist in select theaters now.
