The Lark Report: Sweater Weather Starts Here

Autumn is finally starting to creep up on us. For a while there i was wondering if it was ever gonna come or if summer was here to stay. The cooler nights and crisp air can only mean one thing…its sweater time. This fall, designers made it a point to make sure we were truly covered for the season. Lets cozy up ladies  in the seasons chicest pieces.

For this edition of The Lark report, I thought i would give you ladies a look at a few key pieces that would be great for your closet

1. The Sweater Dress

The sweater dress is a must have this season. Not only is it simple and easy to pull off but it helps to make a statement of “I didnt try to hard” I just showed up or better yet I woke up  like this. One of my favorite people to work with miss Zendaya Coleman posed  in a sweater dress by Mexican Designer Alexia Ulibarri.
The Lark Report says keep it clean, simple and Chic! Bangles, earrings and chic pump is all it takes!

2.  A Statement Coat

Every Girl Needs a statement coat for Fall or a chic and sexy cape. Nothing says im a lady about my buisness and im on the move than a statement coat. ASOS created to chic and fabulous coats this fall check it out.

3. The Turtleneck

This fall take your blouse and stick her to the back of the closet for just a little while. Nothing says I’m sexy, young and stylish like a turtle neck this season. Designers from all over are giving a new take on the once iconic staple pieces. One of my favorites is the DEREK LAM DROPPED SHOULDER TURTLENNECK SWEATER. The Lark Report gives this key pieces 5 hangers

4. The Bootie

What’s sexier than a girl in a peep toe heel? A woman in a peep toe bootie! A true staple piece this fall will be your booties and ZIGI is creating a bootie that SCREAMS SEXY!!! The IVOREE bootie sold at Bakers is a must have this fall ladies. Don’t sleep on her as she can be worked all around your closet from day to night.

5. A Color Bag

Yes yes yes…I totally understand that everyone is doing black and white and keeping it pretty simple this season to. But not the Lark report, were all about adding a spot of color to kick your outfit up a notch.  Try adding color with your back this fall. Michael Kors has a jolly rancher rainbow of handbags that every girl is gonna want this fall. I really love the chic Hamilton Large Saffiano Leather Tote.
