Your favorite around-the-way-girl actress Lauren London “LL” has finally stepped out. She attended a basketball game with her long-time boyfriend Nipsey Hustle after recently giving birth to their first child together, son Kross Asghedom, in September of 2016.

Sporting a heavier look–which is to be expected from a woman who’s recently given birth, people made it obvious and started pointing out how clearly larger she has gotten. Female celebrities don’t get much slack after having a child, people expect since they’re rich it’s easy to hire a trainer or go on a diet or some exclusive weight loss craze. People don’t take into account that every woman’s body is different and have different desires.
On her Instagram she posted this message addressing the comments:
“I’ve been getting compliments on my LOOKS for years. I NEVER let it ‘gas me’ because I knew the enduring value in all things is internal,” London, 32, posted on Instagram. “When I decided to have my son, I knew the internet would be cruel. I knew that casting directors would consider me out of commission for at least a year. I knew that MY BODY would change, but I did not let the fear of these things effect me to the point of going against my spirit. I asked myself: would you rather be at conflict with yourself and at peace with the world? Or at peace with yourself and at conflict with the world? I chose the latter, at that moment I was ready for whatever came with it. This lil weight will get worked off and WHO I AM WILL BE UNCOMPROMISED. WIN-WIN NO?”

Not one for social media or the public eye LL leads a very private life. To this day we have yet to see a full picture of her 7-year-old son she has with rapper Lil Wayne. With a soul trapped in the early nineties and a lover of both gangsters and gangster music Lauren London is a huge Tupac Shukur fan. Her Instagram feeds elicits more pictures of photos from old movies and musicians than it does of herself. LL appears to be working on a new project, as evidence to a IG picture of her clad in military attire. Since admitting the weight will get worked off, stay tuned for a leaner Lauren coming soon.
