The fashion industry is always on the lookout for new talent and innovative ideas. Lately, a couple of new designers have stepped forward to put their infant collections into the spotlight. With the world as their stage, they’ve stepped up to the plate and delivered beyond expectation.
Here are five new that are rising to the occasion, taking names and kicking ass while doing.
Bonnie Young
Designer Bonnie Young has been in the fashion business for quite awhile. She worked Ralph Lauren before becoming a staple for Donna Karan for 16 years. Eventually, Bonnie became Donna Karan’s creative director. However, she eventually left to launch a high-end childrenswear line. Last year she launched a women’s collection.
Bonnie’s designs are characterized as being modern and artful. She gives women versatile pieces to incorporate into their wardrobe.
Verdad
Louis Verdad is known for being a celebrity designer who has made pieces for Madonna, Eva Longoria, and other starlets. Now he’s decided to create an entire fashion line called Verdad, which features younger and laid-back looks compared to his former celebrity creations.
MISBHV
Polish streetwear brand MISBHV made its debut at New York Fashion Week last year. They produce a lot of denim pieces, graphic tees, and sweatshirts. They are here to prove that quality streetwear doesn’t just come from North America or Asia, but Europe as well.
Dilara Findikoglu
Dilara Findikoglu hit the ground running straight out of design school. She’s definitely considered an avant-garde designer who has captured the attention of Lady Gaga and FKA Twigs. Even though her pieces are outside-of-the-box, they are also romantic. Her collections have debuted in London and featured in Vogue Italia.
