After the rumor mill reportedly stated that Mariah Carey was going to have a Beyoncé surprise release date, fans became worried and a little flustered. Although the diva has been doing this for 20 plus years there have been some changes since she stated. As a result Carey has personally confirmed her new album title, art, and release date. If you’re a lamb then brace yourself because it’s very soon. By the end of May you’ll have an entire new body of music from the icon and it looks like Mariah is giving even more of herself to the public.
The previous running title was “The Art of Letting Go” now the title she has settled on is “Me. I am Mariah.” In my opinion it sounds like a more revealing album, which fans love and adore. She later stated in her promo video:
“I’ve been through a lot but I’ve always known me… I am Mariah. Along the way there’s been a couple of nicknames and I’ve inadvertently embodied many personas.
