Bianca and Dayybella are the founders of the quickly successful networking event, Ladies Who Brunch. The Atlanta entrepreneurs established the event to help already established entrepreneurs and aspiring business women come together and take their businesses to the next level. Talk about a power brunch!
Dayybella shares that Bianca and she met at a turkey giveaway and the rest is history. They began brainstorming on ideas to bring prominent women such as themselves together to share idea, thus Ladies Who Brunch was manifested. Ladies Who Brunch networking soiree launched in December and became an instant hit! Bianca Rush tells us that the purpose of the networking event is to help women turn their ideas into action, inform women of information that have no idea what to do with their business, and to empower other women! Bianca adds that they want to bring women into a non-competitive environment. When the attendees come together, all you see is love, support, and lots of hugs!
Topics at the soiree range from overcoming obstacles (professional and personal), how to manage both personal life and business, and how to get your goals off the ground. “How do I formulate my business? How do I network? What legal actions do I need to take? We answer all those ‘how to’ questions.” Bianca shares. With the professional and business environment being male dominated, the creators of Ladies Who Brunch admit that men are a lot more aggressive when it comes to getting their ideas a platform to expand. “We [as women] may have an idea but because of one avenue that we can’t figure out, we might stop. With men, they’ll network their way and talk to other people until they get their point across and get to where they want to be. Ladies Who Brunch offers that avenue for women to continue and go forward with their business. When you get to that halt, we’re here to help you.” Daybella shares that they are always open and willing to help anyone with advice. “Whenever anyone wants to talk to us, we’re here!”
The ladies have had a lot of success in Atlanta; their tickets were sold out within a week for the brunch. Their next step is to take the brand to L.A. The main goal is to make Ladies Who Brunch a global enterprise. Daybella’s personal goals are to host a TV show and own a clothing line. Bianca wants to watch Ladies Who Brunch turn into something that lasts for generations, in addition to continuing her well-known brand, Sassy Mitchell Hair.
