This winter the weather has been more up and down than a rollercoaster at Six flags over Georgia, and if you’re like me you’ve had a little trouble trying to keep your skin healthy and hydrated from this warm, cold, dry and wet weather. Here are some affordable skincare tips I’ve discovered for us guys to keep our skin feeling healthy, smooth and looking good.

FaceTime:

Even though the humidity is constantly changing from day to day, the continuous change in weather will make your face feel anything but oily or dry. It’s still important to exfoliate, slough away dead skin cells, dirt and oil and leave your face feeling fresh and ready to absorb moistures. It is hard enough trying to find a face wash product that is not laced with chemicals that could cause harm to you at a reasonable price, but for the budget conscious guy here’s a natural product you can try Bulldog Natural Skincare Face Wash for Men. Bulldog Natural skincare products never contain artificial ingredients, synthetic fragrances or ingredients from animal sources. This product helps with dry or oily skin and is a great facial wash for daily use. I use it myself. I naturally have oily skin and a lot of facial cleansers dry my face out. This face wash does not dry up your face and is gentle enough to make your face feel fresh and clean. This face wash definitely does its job properly and I highly recommend you try it.

Moisturize:

One of the last things you’re thinking about during this time of year is sunscreen, UVA/UVB rays irritating your skin, but contrary to that belief UVA/UVB rays can get you anytime you head outdoors. It could be freezing outside but it doesn’t matter what temperature it is you’re still exposed to the sun. That’s why moisturizing is super important guys, it helps keep your skin replenished with the right moisture and nutrients to make your skin look and feel healthy and not to mention safe and smooth like a newborn baby. Another affordable product you can use is Neutrogena Men Sensitive Skin Oil-Free Moisturizer with SPF 30. It’s a great product that hydrates and moisturizes the skin using a non-greasy, oil free formula that does the job well keeping your skin feeling great. Another product I would suggest which is also very affordable and can be bought at any drugstore or market is Lubriderm Men’s 3in1 Lotion. It’s great for when your skin is still wet, fresh from out of the shower. Rub on a light layer and let it soften the rough areas of the body. You can also rub a little of this fragrance free lotion onto your hands, feet, and elbows for all over softness. Get into it guys!

Hydrate:

One of the cheapest and simplistic ways for bettering your skin regime is proper hydration. Believe it or not guys it’s something we should all consume regularly not only for our skin but for our overall health period. Good ole fashion water, yes I said it water. According to WebMD, “water helps keep the skin looking good and feeling healthy”. Men should drink at least 2 liters of water a day, which is about 8 glasses. Drinking water not only clears the skin but can help prevent symptoms of acne. If you’ve got dry skin drinking more water will give it more moisture. It will also flush out bad toxins within your pours getting rid of dirt and bacteria. So guys just to make it simple drink more water its good for your health and overall image.
