MFW: Gucci Spring 2014 Collection

Frida Giannini’s Gucci Spring 2014 collection is fun, sporty and sexy. While I’m not familiar with the fashion house the desgins that I’ve seen from Pucci and Dolce & Gabbana leave me wanting more from Gucci.

Fluid silhouettes flounced their way down the catwalk in offerings of sultry silks, and triangle bras peered through laser-cut suede mesh tops. In spite of warm tones for a season ordinarily associated with vibrant pops of color, Giannini didn’t skim on resplendent prints.  Symmetrical patterns reticulated down jumpsuits, tops, and trousers, streaming in shades of plum, crimson and a tepid orange. We also see baggy track pants, oversized T-shirts and jumpsuits. So are the 90’s making a come back. We saw that Pucci served up sporty as well. Looking forward to seeing what’s to come in the warmer months. What do you think of this collection?
