Michael Sam is back in the media but this time it is not about his sexuality or not even about football. We just got word that the former 7th round draft pick of the 2014 NFL Draft will reportedly be a contestant on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.
It has been a long and tough journey for Michael Sam with the controversy that surrounded him being a homosexual man playing in a very macho-man dominated sport. After being cut from the St. Louis Rams after the preseason (the team that drafted him) and being cut from the practice squad of the Dallas Cowboys, the journey seems to be getting a little tougher. Sam revealed earlier this month that he would participate in the first ever NFL Veterans combine but now hearing that he is reportedly appearing on the 20th of season of Dancing With The Stars, is his mindset 100% on football anymore?
Any-who, the reports come from TMZ Sports that Sam allegedly agreed to partake in the new season but no word from the network on the allegations. The season of DWTS is set to start next month so we shall see pretty soon how valid these allegations are.
