A few days ago, Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce presented their spring/summer 2015 collection. The garments embellished with embroideries and other fine details made the show a huge success in the well-known Italian fashion city.
Sticking to their Sicilian signature, the two designers also made their collection embraces the family, feminist and good food images of the Dolce Vita life style. However, this time Stefano and Domenico also associated the Spanish invasion to their inspiration by adding some baroque, rich colors and flower details to their designs.
Vibrant reds, dark blacks and pure whites were the colors mainly used in the collection composed of matador-style jackets, fringed capes and flamenco polka dot dresses. Gold details and beads on belts or even jeans were also part of the corrida in which sexy toreros girls seemed to be the ones dominating the fight.
Kendall Jenner was of course part of the show. Walking down her fifth runway for the Italian luxury fashion house, she also led the crew of nearly forty other models for the grand final. The last march presented the models all dressed in white bullfighter shirts tucked into satin bloomers embossed with gold and red embroidery.
