Our favorite Australian model, Miranda Kerr, gave us all a lesson in how to transition spring/ summer pieces into our fall wardrobes. This is such a cute look that instantly goes edgy when Miranda added her leather elements.
We love the changes in fashion that are happening with fall fashion norms. Usually, when we think of fall, we think of those deep, dark colors: navy, cobalt, black, burgundy, olive green, and more. We are drawn to those colors that are really rich and not so soft. But for this fall season, we are seeing a lot of spring-y elements present. Softer colors such as powder blues and light pinks and many other soft tones were being seen on fall 2014 show runways. Floral patterns were also among the newly accepted fall lineup. Miranda Kerr styled this outfit perfectly as a transition from spring to fall. With her base being her floral jumpsuit, she simply added staple pieces from the fall season that also gave the jumper a little edge. Two thing every girl needs in her closet is a leather bomber/ jacket and a great bag. The leather jacket is one of the most popular articles of clothing present in street fashion! & a great bag will be your best friend. Miranda Kerr accented her jumpsuit with a leather bomber jacket that had some great detailing and hardware feel to it. She also added an oxblood Michael Kors bag and black pointed toe heels to finish off her look.
We are definitely fans of Miranda’s look! But how can you achieve a look that uses transitioned spring/ summer pieces in fall? Layers, layers, layers! Layers serve as your best friend during the fall/ winter season. Stock up on your leather jackets, blue jean jackets, trench coats, scarves, flannels, and more so you can own this fall/ winter season!
