MTV has made a major move in favor of us fashion lovers in 2012 when it brought back the ’90s show House of Style, with Joan Smalls and Karlie Kloss as its hosts! There were high hopes for the show, especially since it was gaining so much industry cred, but it was short-lived, lasting only a short season and being seen only online.
Well now MTV’s bringing back the show with a brand new host because they haven’t lost hop in House of Style yet! We’re excited about it and sure that it’ll be amazing. The show premieres on August 4 with Miss Iggy Azalea as the new host! Iggy’s been getting some attention in the fashion industry, so it’s only fitting!
Iggy will be the first host who isn’t a supermodel but a musician, and will follow in the footsteps of some of fashion’s biggest faces! House of Style will give viewers a look into how the fashion industry evolves alongside music and technology—who better to give us this lesson of evolution than I-G-G-Y?!! The show will highlight designers, celebrity trendsetters, emerging trends, and more! You’re definitely not going to want to miss any of the eight episodes. We’re definitely excited to see what Miss Azalea is going to bring to the show!
