The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Glee star has been cast for the well-known Cinderella play in Broadway. Starting on November 25th 2014, NeNe will be playing the character of the wicked stepmother and successor to Sherri Shepherd.
The Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella production, which will be performing its final show on January 3rd 2015, will have a total of 770 plays since it began in January 2013.
Leakes will make her Broadway debut alongside KeKe Palmer, who will be the first African American playing the character of Cinderella.
The 46-year-old mom or “Glam-Ma” (grandma), as she rather likes to be called, is playing some new cards in her game of skills and we can’t wait to see her performing!
