After the passing of Joan Rivers a few names have been mentioned to aid in ushering the new season coming this January of Fashion Police. One of those names is no other than NeNe Leakes from RHOA.
Now that word has gotten out she’s not holding back in sharing how she would do on the E! panel discussion. Not saying that she’ll fill Joan’s shoes, but she would bring her own originality to the broadcast.
She states:
“I have to say Joan is irreplaceable. If the opportunity comes it’s a possibility I might, I might not … I’m a fashion designer, love fashion and I’ll give you a good read every now and then so it may not be a bad place for me to be.”
Further on she discusses her future with RHOA and continues with,
“This is my 7th season, I’m the OG of the Atlanta housewives, I’m the only original girl standing … For me you have to grow up at some point in life and career, I don’t wanna be bickering, arguing, snatching weaves every single day, just doesn’t make me feel good.”
For years she’s been campaigning and hinting at her departure of the show, but still hasn’t done it. We all know its because she hasn’t found anything consistent enough like the franchise to sustain her relevance. At the end of the day she really shouldn’t forget where she came from. Sometimes it looks like she doesn’t and the public won’t ever let her forget it either.
One thing she did find the time to explain was that she’s very rich yet again.
“I was not offered 1.5, let’s be clear, yeah, it’s a lot nicer than that.”
