3 ways to jump-start your New Year’s Goals
We’re 43 days into the year, and by now you should have a plan for achieving your New Years goals. If not, it’s not too late to get started on setting up a plan. Whether you want to lose weight or start that new business, here’s what you need to know.
Keep a journal
If you don’t plan, then you plan to fail. A big part of one’s success is creating a plan. The plan serves as an outline of what you want to achieve. Then begin keeping a journal, of what actions you are taking daily to reach your goal.

Find an accountability partner
Have you ever worked out with a trainer? If so, have you noticed that you tend to lose more weight? Well, its because you have someone ensuring that you complete your workouts. They challenge you to push your workouts to your limits. And you have to weigh in, which tells the story of whether you are eating correctly. It can become difficult to stay on track when life happens. This is why it’s important to have an accountability partner. Your accountability partner is the equivalent of a trainer. Someone to motivate you to achieve your goals, but more importantly to push you on days when you are struggling.

Don’t get discouraged
Just because you missed the mark on achieving your goal does not mean you failed. Set up small steps as milestones to keep you motivated. Small steps in the right direction will lead you to achieving the bigger goal you have in mind. Remember Rome wasn’t built overnight. Achieving your goal will take hard work and dedication, if success was that easy everyone would be successful.

Let’s go out and conquer the world in 2018!
