The creative director of Balenciaga, Alexander Wang totally satisfied our expectation with his last collection presented at the New York Fashion Week last Saturday. Known for his futuristic, somewhat masculine womenswear style, he stated that the whole idea for his Spring 2015 Ready-To-Wear line was to translate trainers onto the body and he amazingly interpreted it through the entire collection. Going from some elastic lacing criss-crossing torso tops to black or white long dresses embossed with sheer peek-a-boo details, he proved that sporty features can be perfectly paired with sexy looks.
Using also geometrical shape on clingy body-con short dresses and in electrical colors, Wang made his models looking like they were coming right back from a future millennium.
Furthermore, the San Francisco native’s accessory collection was just breathtaking. Fusing sneakers with a clutch, he played with sport and colorful details to create our new fave trendy “hand-candies”.
Closing his own show with his epic leaping and a big grin, Alexander Wang looked like a gymnastic champ after winning the gold medal.

Even though Alexander Wang’s success was expected, the fashion genius once again stood out with his creativity and out of the ordinary style.
How do you like Alexander Wang’s last collection? Would you wear some of his pieces? What are your thoughts about the sneaker-clutches?
