Saturday has been ruined for all the Jordan sneaker fans. Why you ask? Well Nike Store has been battling with the ever-so growing creation of the shoe bot. The shoe bot is a software that automatically has you information prepared and ready to cop when the heat drops in a matter of seconds. It is nearly impossible as a regular online customer to compete with a bot.

Nike released a statement in regards to the online cancellation. “Bots have been compromising the experience around specific products,” Nike said. “We’re working hard to make sure real consumers are the ones getting access.” Nike also added that it is “committed to creating the most premium experiences for [its] consumers online.” Nike Store sent out this tweet:

“Apologies. We’re canceling the online launches of the AJ 1 Pinnacle & the AJ 1 High on 5/30. Learn more here: http://swoo.sh/1FfaNYi” – @nikestore

Although the online release is cancelled, actual Nike retail stores and other select shoe stores will still be releasing the two sneakers. We have no word on whether or not other retail stores will cancel their online sales of the sneakers as well.
