George Clooney, 53 said “I do” to Ama Alamuddin, 36 in Italy last Saturday. The ceremony and reception, which took place at the Aman Canal Grande Hotel in Venice had nothing to do with Kim and Kanye’s wedding in Florence. While Kim Kardashian encouraged her guests to take pictures during the ceremony and post them on social media, Clooney and Alamuddin wanted to keep their big day private. Thus, their guests, which included Anna Wintour, were requested to keep they phones away for the ceremony and the paparazzi were escorted out once the ceremony started. So what did Amal’s wedding gown look like? That’s a very good question we cant answer yet and we might have to wait a few more days before pictures of the most certainly gorgeous wedding gown are going to land online. Meanwhile, we want to share a few amazing fashion moments of George Clooney’s bride before and after the big day.
As she arrived in Venice for the beginning of the celebration weekend, Amal was spotted in a black and white stunning Dolce & Gabbana dress.
On Friday night, Alamuddin showed up in a red-and-black Alexander McQueen gown revealing her amazing legs. The two future wedded were then joined by some of their good friends like Emily Blunt, John Krasinsk, Bono, Cindy Crawford, Matt Damon, Bono and many more for the wedding rehearsal.
On Sunday morning, Clooney’s new wife showed up in a Giambattista Valli Couture lace white dress embossed with flowers while her new husband was wearing a grey suit with a crisp white shirt. The newlyweds were boated to the Belmond Hotel Cipriani to meet their friends for brunch.
While the official gown hasn’t been revealed yet to the media, we have at least a picture of the wedding ring, a shiny platinum wedding band. Simple yet beautiful.
