OVO Clothing welcomes the OVO x Clark Original Desert Boot as a new arrival. They’ve taken the classic Clarks Original Desert Boot and customized it with OVO’s flare. The new design is very trending and speaks to the creativity that OVO brings.

The stylish boots are handcrafted in Janus Suede and feature OVO designs along the surface of the shoe. The structure of the interior is made from genuine leatherThe design comes in three different colors including eggplant purple, light tan, and black. Inside the tongue, the label reads “Know Yourself”. All of the shoes are hand-stitched in England, which is also where Clarks’ headquarters is located.
This is not the first time that the company has collaborated with other footwear brands. They’ve previously teamed up with Jordan to create an All-star capsule collection. The brand has also collaborated with the Toronto Raptors. Now their collab with Clarks has given life to a boot that could possibly be the new Timberland boot.
OVO Clothing was founded in 2011 by popular Hip-Hop artist Drake. It started out producing of parkas and jackets; and collab-collections with other brands. However, now it’s a full-blown collection of sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, pants, jackets, and shoes. It opened its first flagship store in Toronto in 2014.
Clarks has been around since the early 1800s. The company first released Desert boots in the mid-1900s, after the prototype became popular in Chicago. Since then the boot has been their most popular shoe, even though it was originally declined by the family-owned business. It was James Clark who created designs after seeing similar shoes worn but officers in the British army.
The OVO x Clarks Desert Boot retails for $375, however, all of the shoes are sold out on the OVO website. Besides the store in Toronto, OVO also has flagship stores in Los Angeles and New York.
