Whoever said R&B is dead must not know who Tinashe is! I mean this girl is nothing short of amazing–vocals, beauty, body, and DANCING skills–make her a quadruple threat. Well it has been a minute since she released her critically acclaimed album, Aquarius, and we could not be happier. Her new music video, Player is amazing and really showcases her performance skills. It appears to be some sort of sexy dance off. Surprisingly, professional dancer/choreographer, Anthony Burrell appears here too. He is as amazing as ever and a welcomed site. I cannot remember the last video I saw him in before he was in The Skinny alongside Empire’s Jussie Smollett.
Still the height of the video is none other than Chris Brown. You can say what you will about Breezy, but the man is a musical powerhouse. He and Tinashe have amazing chemistry! You can actually liken this chemistry and song to the hit he made with fellow R&B artist, Sevyn Streeter in It Won’t Stop. It would be awesome to see a compilation album with all of contemporary R&B’s greats which includes the aforementioned artists as well as Trey Songz, Omarion, and The Weeknd.
