After Tiny was spotted out with lighter eyes, people were wondering if they were simply contacts or if she had surgery to change the color. I genuinely just figured they were contacts. I didn’t think this was a thing. But, the singer and reality star confirmed everything yesterday on her personal Instagram account. (She later deleted it but not before I could screenshot the post.) Through a procedure called Brightocular Tiny went from having brown eyes to ice grey implants.
BrightOcular is a United States developed artificial iris implant made of a thin, flexible, biocompatible, colored medical grade silicone which has been developed to alter iris appearance for medical and cosmetic purposes.
The procedure takes 15 minutes per eye. 15 minutes! I don’t know if I trust something so serious, being done in such a short amount of time. But for some people, I guess it’s a good idea. I’ve heard so many stories of this kind of procedure going bad, aka GOING BLIND. For me personally, I have no problem popping in color contacts when I want to be extra cute.
