Confession: I am a hair product junkie. On my quest to find the best products for my natural hair, I’ve amassed a large number of bottles and jars of creams, oils, and cleansers. Some of them worked well. Others…not so much. I’d used Cantu Shea Butter’s Leave-In Conditioning Repair Cream after I experienced heat damage, and it mended my split ends. So when I was given the chance to try more Cantu Shea Butter products, I felt confident that my hair would love them all. Did I Love It or Loathe It? Check out my Cantu Shea Butter product review!
Moisturizing Cream Shampoo: This cleanser removed the buildup on my scalp and left my hair feeling refreshed. And I love that it’s gentle enough for daily use since I work out frequently.
Moisturizing Rinse Out Conditioner: Because I’m more cautious after my heat damage fiasco, I was happy to see that this conditioner would give me extra protection from breakage and those pesky split ends. My hair can’t get enough moisture. So I slathered it on and wore a conditioning cap for about 30 minutes, although the directions state that leaving it on for 3-5 minutes is enough time for you to achieve results. My hair was super soft as soon as I rinsed it out.
Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream: A little bit goes a long way. I took a half dollar-sized amount of the cream and massaged it into the entire length of my tresses. Your girl was bouncin’ and behavin’ afterwards.
Coconut Milk Shine & Hold Mist: First of all, this smells delicious! I had to remind myself that I wasn’t holding a Piña Colada. A few sprays of this in the morning keep my mane shining all day.
The Verdict: LOVE IT!! It looks like I’ll be making room in my hair care collection for more Cantu Shea Butter goodies! No matter what texture you’re rocking (natural, relaxed, or even color-treated), you can reap the benefits of the pure shea butter and essential oils found in the shampoo and conditioner. And did I mention that the entire line is very affordable? This product junkie is pleased.
