Naturalistas everywhere UNITE!! I am currently participating in the 30 day hair challenge using the natural hair products of Naturelle Grow. I have been without chemicals to straighten my hair, the creamy crack, for about two and a half years. Now you see this is my second time on this merry go round. My freshman year in undergrad, I had a bad experience with chemical relaxers. I had just moved to Norfolk, VA and was attending Norfolk State University (Behold the Green and Gold!). Since I am originally a GA Peach, I was not close to my faithful hair stylist which means what most women hate… I WAS FORCED TO FIND A NEW STYLIST!! Well my worst hair nightmare came to fruition and I decided that from that day forward I would do my own hair. Not confident in my ability to apply chemicals to my hair, I began my transition phase. Not to age myself, but in 2007 there were not many products geared toward natural hair.
