Rihanna’s ensemble at the CFDA awards made quite a stir this week, and has everyone talking. Even the remaining members of TLC TBoz and Chilli have made a few comments.

Even though the ladies of TLC were known for embracing their sexuality in the 90’s, it didn’t stop them from taking a few jabs at pop star and fashion icon Rihanna.

In a recent interview with Australia’s Channel 7’s Sunrise, TBoz and Chilli discussed with them their views on women in the industry today.
Here is what they had to say:

“You know what Madonna did it [first] … but right now its like a domino effect, everybody seems to be doing that because it gets so much attention,” Chilli Said. “People are usually followers, it’s rare that you have leaders who switch the game up and do something totally different. So you have all these followers, all of them doing the same thing as a result … posting half-naked pictures of themselves on Twitter and Instagram – it’s just crazy, almost like you are dying for attention.”

They continued…
“Every time I see you you don’t have to be naked,” T-Boz added. “It’s hard for us to say anything because any time we do, they say, ‘Oh TLC must be jealous’, but I call a spade a spade.
We became the biggest girl selling group of all time with our clothes on and that says a lot,’ Chilli chimed in.”

Even though Chilli or TBoz made it clear on who they were talking about, Rihanna quickly took offense and went in on them on twitter.

The Barbados native referred to the pair as “Old THOTS” in one tweet. Then continued in a another tweet, “when there’s no changing the fact that I’m me and they’re well… They’re them.” The singer even went as far as putting a topless photo of the girl group as her header!

TBoz and Chilli should have known that Rih Rih was going to bite back. Do you think that Rihanna had a right to take up for herself , or is she just being a cyber bully again?
