
A Chicago-based startup has released designs for what they call a revolution in fashion. The company is called RompHim and their aim is to make comfortable and trendy rompers for men to wear. Ever since the company came forward with their vision, the internet has exploded with comments and memes towards rompers; most which aren’t so nice. Though some of the responses toward male rompers are hilarious, the majority of people think that the idea of men wearing them is ridiculous.
Despite what people think, rompers for guys are nothing new. A one-piece jumpsuit with shortened arms and legs has walked down plenty of runways. Not to mention, the social media frenzy has caused people to bring back old images of gentlemen wearing rompers. Though, men don’t usually refer to them as such. It just goes to show that almost everything in fashion has been done before in some way.
RompHim’s designs for their rompers can be found on their Kickstarter page. The company made the page to raise money to produce their designs. It also serves as the main hub for orders. They claim that rompers for men are the perfect item for the Summer. They can be worn at concerts, beaches, parties, or any social occasion where a romper would be the appropriate garment for the occasion.
The companies romper design features a front shirt pocket perfect for pens or sunglasses. There are adjustable waist tabs to modify the way that the garment fits based on the structure of someone’s body. In the there’s one zippered pocket so you don’t lose your wallet. Also, there are two deep front pockets, and a zipper fly for obvious reasons. As of now RompHim only produces rompers in Red Chambray, Blue Chambray, and Splattered Print Cotton, which is currently sold out.

Not too long ago Cam Newton was seen in a floral romper during this year’s Coachella. Days ago Atlanta rapper, Young Dro, was seen in a bright colored romper. Both celebrities are known for their fashionable appearances. Cam is basically the living definition of a “fashionisto”, while Dro is known to wear bright colors. However, Dro is usually only seen in Polo.
