Tyrese has been on the blogs all week. First it was his clap-back video at Comedian Spanky Hayes, and now this. Hayes made a blockbuster statement when he claimed that Tyrese traded sexual favors with the male director for his role as Jody in Baby Boy. Tyrese clapped back in a dramatic 15-minute video where he’s wearing a fur and smoking a cigar. He tells Spank “You’re done in Hollywood. You know you done effed up, right?” and refutes everything the comedian said. He says he’d already had the role of Jody when he went in to “audition”.
Throughout his career, Tyrese has had a habit of dating women who weren’t black and he’s spoken out about why he doesn’t date black women. He’s another one who needs a twitter PR rep. But he’s been linked to Taraji P. Henson, his Baby Boy co-star, and recently Sanaa Lathan. Now, the chemistry between Tyrese & Taraji is intense, I wanted this rumor to be true for years. But they’re just really good friends. This relationship with Sanaa is new to me but apparently this isn’t the first time they’ve been linked.
Back in 2008, Tyrese and Sanaa were spotted leaving a premiere in what looks like a date night. In video that has surfaced from that public outing, although Tyrese and Sanaa left the venue together, Tyrese strategically slowed up his pace once he saw the cameras around so that Sanaa would be photoed by herself.
Reports state that this past Monday, Tyrese and Sanaa Lathan wined and dined at Pizzeria Mozza in Hollywood. While no one caught them on camera, the twosome were caught out together on another dinner date Wednesday night. They hit The Cheesecake Factory in Topanga, CA. TMZ was right on time.
I’m not entirely buying the Tyrese-Sanaa thing, they could just be longtime friends. She uploaded a selfie in his house, but unless it was them two, naked in his bed; I’m not buying it! What do you think?
