So who didn’t love “Sex and the City?!” The fashion, the drama, the yearning for a glamorous life in Manhattan! Ahhh…we loved it! But, of course, we have to point out the show’s main fashionista, the style star: Sarah Jessica Parker’s role Carrie Bradshaw! We fell in love with her character and her effortless style from the first time we saw her! She is definitely a source of inspiration for us, as well as other fashion lovers!

Well the woman behind Carrie Bradshaw is debuting a second line of handbags and her character’s favorite accessories: SHOES! We all remember Carrie’s love for a good Manolo Blahnik, so we are sure that Sarah Jessica Parker will produce another line that is nothing short of amazing! She shared that playing the role of Carrie influenced her love for shoes, and we’re glad that it did! She was also inspired by the legendary Patricia Field who was the costume designer for “Sex and the City.” She said that without Patricia’s contributions, Carrie Bradshaw would have been incomplete.  We LOVE Patricia Field and her work! Sarah Jessica Parker was inspired by her so much that she named a shoe after her. Another one of her muses was her hairstylist of 14 years, Serge Normant.

The shoe collection features a lot of black and autumn-esque colors like navy, purple, deep red, and gray. There are also suede booties, over-the-knee boots, and a t-strap heel called “The Carrie.” The collection also features  cute handbags that are all under the $500 price range. We’re excited about this line and can’t wait to see Sarah Jessica Parker’s collection on the shelves! Her collection will be available at select Nordstrom stores and online this month, as well as a release of new colorways of shoes in September.
