Shonda Rhimes is not disappointing one bit! Scandal is officially keeping us all at the edge of our seats. The things that were revealed in this weeks episode is by far shocking and addictive to watch. The love affair between Liv and Fitz is just enough and not overly saturated. The other characters are also given the opportunity to development and growth into who they are. Most importantly Rhimes keeps us all wanting to know more.

Quinn

Opens up the episode witnessing Jeremy Winslow within the first two minutes committing suicide. Before his death she accuses him of hunting Olivia. She then mentioned that his daughter was aware of it before her own murder.

Huck

Finally has the opportunity to step away from the online video game and see his son in person. Sadly, he could not speak to him due to the many speculations that would have followed in public at the arcade. He decides to leave and head back to the office. Once at the office his son arrives and calls him out on being his father. He traced the location of who he was playing online and said, “I’ve seen pictures and I know you’re my father.”

Abby

Took this week by storm and showed out! Her abusive ex-husband returns to town and reveals he’s running for senator of Virginia. She hides her true feelings and then returns to her office scared for her life. Liv arrives with new clothes after Abby accidently vomits from anxiety. Their everlasting friendship looks to be standing strong as it was before Liv left with Jake. Abby doubts that Liv can “handle it.” Liv repeatedly states, “What do you want.” Needless to say, “it’s handled.” Later on Abby pulls a gun out on her ex-husband and lets him know that she’s not afraid of him anymore. Following the incident she felt her power come back.

Cyrus

Investigates if his lover Michael is the one tipping the media off on all the president’s pending global actions. At first he finds nothing till the very end of the episode when Mellie mentions something on television he purposely said to Mike in confidence as a test.

Mellie

Returns to her duties as First Lady and can still see that Fitz has no interest in her. The thought makes her blood boil and snap on Fitz yet again explaining how she’s always been here for him and all he can do is turn his back.

Liv & Fitz

These two are all over the place this most recent episode. She entertains the thought of being with Fits by still giving him “hope”. Liv makes it a goal of her’s to get to the bottom of who killed the president’s son. Fitz is still convinced that it’s Jake, but Liv refuses to believe the accusations. She then questions Tom at the prison he’s being held in. Tom still refuses to tell the truth and Liv grows angry as he glorifies her for her beauty. Every time she disregards the comments he begins again. Later Fitz is on the phone with Liv and attempt to have phone sex with her as he’s standing in the oval office. Liv tries to resist but then falls into the temptation.

Towards the end of the episode Liv begins to think like her father and sends someone to hurt Tom in the prison. He doesn’t die, but then desides to finally tell the truth. She records everything and then goes back to Fitz with all the details to take her father down!
