THE SHOE, an element of dress, that at one point was just used for functionality to cover the foot to keep it safe and secure, was revolutionized into becoming an element of fashion as various shoe styles have evolved; Different styles being offered for different personalities and looks to compliment various garments and dress styles.
I’m quite sure throughout your day to day journeys from work, to the local store, restaurants and even while shoe shopping at the mall you have seen an array of footwear that most likely you didn’t even know had separate names to describe its specific style! You say to yourself, “that style looks nice!,” but just don’t quite know what it would be called. Back in the day we know they had penny loafers and lace ups and that was the extent of names that were used because that’s all they had! lol.
Well this article is going to help you understand how many different types and style of shoes there are and what are their proper names and ways to classify them.
