Sideboob, HOT or THOT

To sideboob or not to sideboob that is the question. Losing coverage and embracing the #TeamNoBra and #FreetheNipple trend, cleavage is getting a lot of attention. It is the Golden Age of Sideboob, Innerboob, and Underboob. And no one seems to mind if you stare.

Definition -noun-

  1. A profile view of “the girls” that requires going braless as it is more seductive than regular cleavage
  2. When the side of one’s breast is revealed
  3. Sideboob’s first debut on Family Guy during the Peter Griffin Side Boob Hour

Fashion bloggers and critics have called this visible boob trend: scandalous, tacky, and a desperate need to be sexy. With the feminist movement in full effect, are these women to be slut-shamed as they embrace their womanly features?

With a tiny flash of sideboob, this trend has made its way from celebrities, streetwear, red carpets, catwalks to social media. Miley Cyrus, Beyonce, Rihanna, Chrissy Teigen, to name a few, have been spotted sporting this trend. Even models like Gigi Hadid, Cassie, and Jourdan Dunn have embraced this trend as they go braless from red carpets to running errands.

Is side boob HOT or THOT?!

Borderline sexy and slutty, we know the fashion industry anything goes. However, sideboob can be a little much for the day to day woman as she goes to the gym, work, or grocery shopping. However, this hasn’t stopped fashion retailers and social media from welcoming this trend with open arms. Low cut DIY T-shirts, bodysuits, and jumpsuits have all been altered to reveal sideboob.

Note the first ‘Sideboob Bralette’ designed by fashion website, ASOS. A new way to showcase the girls without going braless.
