Of course she is quite the American athlete. Her great contribute to professional tennis has landed her at number 1 in women’s singles tennis. Tennis isn’t the only thing Williams is good at. Serena Williams is what we call #blackgirlmagic.

What is #BLACKGIRLMAGIC? It’s simple. Huffington Post, Julee Wilson said it best “this term is used to illustrate the universal awesomeness of black women. It’s about celebrating anything we deem particularly dope, inspiring, or mind-blowing about ourselves.” The term was created by CaShawn Thompson. Thompson felt its a movement that celebrates the power, beauty and resilience of black women.
