Musical genius Pharrell has something to be awfully happy about as he has learned that he will receive his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The “Happy” singer is amongst 30 other honorees including rapper Pitbull, daytime TV host Kelly Ripa, and legendary band Kool and the Gang.
The 41-year-old singer, producer, and musician has received many other accolades including Grammys, an Academy Award nomination for best original song, and most recently winning two awards at the Cannes Lion International Festival in Cannes, France for his eco-friendly fashion jeans line and his website 24hoursofhappy.com which allowed fans to upload their own version of the song Happy.
With his monstrous roster of hits he’s produced, fans will now get the opportunity to watch him as he and Gwen Stefani becomes the newest hosts on NBC’s The Voice.
Pharrell has five years to set a date for his individual star induction ceremony!
