2015 is already shaping up to be a stellar year for movies. Besides the major summer blockbusters ahead of us there are a few gems to keep us entertained during midwinter and spring. Everyone’s favorite “Nicktoon” is one of them! Yep, SpongeBob Squarepants is back on The Big Screen! Get ready for laughs, zaniness, craziness, and sheer joy as your favorite sea sponge and his motley crew of friends make an appearance on dry land!
If you’re a true SpongeBob fan then you know this is not the fry cook’s first trip to dry land. It is, however, his first lengthy expedition and a truly humanoid form. If you might recall earlier when he ventured onto dry land to win a bet with Sandy Cheeks he looked like a regular household cleaning sponge. This time around SpongeBob, Sandy, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs brave the surface world to retrieve the stolen Krabby Patty formula. There, they face an evil pirate. To take him down and save Bikini Bottom from anarchy the quintet become superheroes and RIPPED! How SpongeBob and his friends will save the day is anybody’s guess, but you just know you will be laughing all the while.
