It’s good to get motivated before starting off your New Year’s ‘getting back to shape’ Resolution. Having a good music playlist is a perfect way to give yourself a little push when hitting the gym.
Researchers at Brunel University in London have teamed up with Spotify to compile an ‘Ultimate Workout’ playlist, that guarantees to bring on results after a workout.
The tracks were picked based off of the pace, and tempo of the song, then the order of the songs were placed to mirror a natural workout plan. From stretching to cooling down, there will be a song to fit the mood.
The best part of the playlist is that the songs are very recognizable. They have been played countless of times on the radio. So jamming out to your favorite song will definitely make the time spent at the gym a little more easier.
If you are ready to break out a sweat, I suggest you download this playlist from Spotify. This could help you with your resolution tremendously or at least help you have a little fun while trying to complete your goal.
The first 10 songs of the playlist:
Roar – Katy Perry
Talk Dirty – Jason Derulo ft 2 Chainz
Skip To The Good Bit – Rizzle Kicks
Get Lucky – Daft Punk ft Pharrel Williams
Move – Little Mix
Need U (100%) – Duke Dumont ft A*M*E
You Make Me – Avicii
Feel My Rhythm – Viralites
Timber – Pitbull ft Ke$ha
Applause – Lady Gaga
