Summer is ending and Fall is approaching. But, that doesn’t mean one of fashions top summer trends has to end. Stripes anyone?

With New York Fashion Week and fashion month approaching, will this years designers make a statement with bold, bulging and asymmetrical stripe patterns for Fall/Winter 2017-2018 collection. Or, will they strike out?

But, has stripes ever been out of style? Regardless of what we may see in the next few weeks. Stripes were the ultimate trend for Summer 2017.

Is this trend Hot or Hmm for some of you fashionista readers. Thanks to VOGUE resort preview we were able to get a glimpse of our favorite designers up incoming Fall/Winter 2018 collections -and of course they do not strike out. Designers, Fendi, Elie Saab, Ports 1961, Miu Miu and Rosie Assoulin schooled us on how to make stripe statements for Spring/Summer 17. But, designers LemLem, Albino Teodoro and Krizia are prepping us for the Fall. Stripes are here to stay and (gasp!) doesn’t seem like we can do much about it!

Stripes have been so important this season that they have been plastered on red carpets worn by  your favorite celebs. Actresses from Black-ish Yara Shahidi, Insecure’s Issa Rae to our favorite gladiator Kerry Washington and more-have all striped out with beauty on red carpets throughout 2017. We can’t forget that the fellas have been part of the fashion trend as well, with bold stripe blouses, pants and blazers. During Men’s Fashion Week in June Kenzo , Perry Ellis and of course Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2018 collections-showed the potential of what’s to come for stylish men.

So if her headed to the beach, out with friends or headed to a very important meeting adding a little stripes won’t hurt. According to fashion trends it may make you more interesting.
