You may know him from the hit TV show Power as Andre or his “Jeep Music” EP, but Rotimi has Style Kontrol as well. With his personalized swagger, he is for sure eye candy. Rotimi has shown he can pull off any look he desires. His looks can range from urban and casual to sophisticated and daring. There were many styles to choose from his Instagram profile, but we will highlight some key characteristics of his wardrobe.
Monochromatic Man Style
Rotimi has chosen to rock consistent colors for several occasions. From observation, an all-white outfit may be his go-to style. For an interview with The Breakfast Club he chose to wear a white button-up and white pants along with a white jacket and gold jewelry. Before that, the singer chose the white-on-white look for a stage performance. He even had on all-white on the cover of his EP. For his BETxLive appearance, the entertainer rocked an all-denim ensemble. Can we say monochromatic much?
Pull out the Patterns
The BET Awards was the occasion for Rotimi to get suited and booted in a checkered guise. He pulled this off by choosing only a watch and bracelet as accessories; which was a smart move. A black suit patterned with damask was flaunted during the Power season 4 premiere this year. As part of one of his BETxLive looks, the “Want More” singer went with a tribal style top partnered with white pants. It is safe to say Rotimi knows white looks good on him!
Layers on Layers Style
Fall or Winter may be Rotimi’s favorite season because he will put a jacket or a hoodie on with no problem! Sitting next to rapper Fabolous backstage at The Party Tour, he rocked an orange jacket/black hoodie combination. Also noteworthy, a gray sleeveless hoodie with some camouflage created a casual but urban look. A white bandana is placed in his back pocket to put that finishing touch to it. While visiting Syracuse University he sported a white hooded jacket with some gray joggers. A gold watch and chains were on his wrist and neck.
