Summer Sexy: Mack Wilds, August Alsina, and Ed Sheeran cover VIBE

Mack Wilds, August Alsina, and Ed Sheeran tag team to cover Vibe’s 2014 July Issue. The magazine refers to the group as “Soul Brothers” as they all strike cool, manly poses for the cover. The July issue of Vibe includes separate interviews from the three musicians discussing coming up in the music industry, life before the fame, and their love for music.

Mack Wilds shares with mag his transition from acting to singing, stressing that he is a devoted musician and not some actor that decided to give singing a try. He mentions that he admires Justin Timberlake’s move when it comes to acting and singing, stating “When he jumps into acting, he’ll have actors like, ‘Oh my god, what is he doing?’ But he’s good. And he’s not just good. He’s brilliant and he’s funny and has charisma.” Mack Wilds also talks about how he knows a lot of people don’t know about his album “New York: A Love Story” that was released September of 2013, but he’s cool with that? August Alsina gave a very candid interview with Vibe. August talked about his life of drug dealing and his family having very little income. He mentions a time where he had to pawn his computer that he used to kick-start his music career to get by. He also shares that he didn’t expect television to get him where his is today; he went straight to the internet. “I never was one of those kids who would go on American Idol thinking I could sing. Ed Sheeran, guitar-strumming singer and songwriter, gives a very hilarious interview and chats about how he loves diversity, and supports other gingers that support him. Ed is mostly known for acoustic tunes, like the hits on his album “x” (multiply), but is not limited to it. “I want to straddle all worlds at once.
