T.I will be the latest act headed to the Las Vegas Strip. The rapper and actor will start a monthly residency at Drai’s Nightclub at the Cromwell. He will kick off his exclusive appearance at the club on Saturday and has already scheduled performances running through July. The news of his residency comes a few days after the Atlanta performer announced his recent signed deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation for his upcoming album “Dime Trap” and he has also joined the roster of artists to be co-owner of Jay-Z’s Tidal music streaming service.

The rapper is offering an alternative to the pop divas residency. Giving Vegas residency veterans such as: Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Cher and now Jennifer Lopez, a run for their money. The Drai’s Nightclub, has been known for being a hotspot for Hip-Hop artists and their entourage. They have also led the change to luring Hip-Hop and R&B artist to the Strip. The complex has booked artists such as: Big Sean, the Weeknd, Chris Brown, ASAP Rocky, Trey Songz, Miguel and Fabolous in the past. Michael Gruber, partner of Drai’s Enterprises, has mentioned he is thrilled to what’s in stores for the rapper and welcomes him into the Drai’s family.
